im getting tired of people who are claiming that they found a way to standby for host again or how to bridge again, and posting fake/ not-working tutorials. If people REALLY find out something, just post a tutorial, and it will be appreciated. Otherwise, stop posting crap, it will make the se7en sins website look dumb. - somegamer1
lol, you kids are so funny, i just wasted 15 min reading all this bullsh1t you post about how you need to change you local ip / clearing the cache this is what i have gathered so far from trying to bridge *clearing the cache does NOT do anything *when you standby for host (which is still possible nubs) it will work for a while and then all of a sudden you will start lagging out, or the party will go back to step three, the reason this starts happening is because when you standby for host, you usually do it to ip boot people or team standby or regular standby, all of these show bungie that you have a weak connection and arnt fit to host *my guess is bungie flags the gamertags as having a bad host connection and doesnt allow them to host untill they play a couple games without having lag on thier connection then you will people able to standby for host again so, in conclusion, if you standby for host and dont cheat, (use it for host advantage only) then you can continue to standby for host as long as you want and bungie wont do **** thats one theory second theory is that bungie doesnt look at how laggy the game is but only looks at how many times somone has hosted, and since when you usually standby for host you do it every game then it wont let you host, again this is just a theory, this one is the least likely because lets say somone with a T3 connection goes online, they would prettymuch get host everygame, would bungie stop them from hosting? it could be the first second or both theories combined in a weird way i dont know, im just throwing ideas out there stop posting bull**** about changing your ip, im am 100% sure that has NOTHING to do with it, maby cache im not sure because i havent thoroughly tested it pce
OK, I will try if this works, since i know a way to force host now, and I am host-banned myself. I will have my friend force me host a couple of games, and after that I will check if I can standby for host again. If it works, I will let you know!
Getting host after standbying a lot has nothing to do with your internet connection (IP Address) it's in your xbox because i was standbying it with my xbox then after a while i couldn't. Then i tried with my 360 and i could do it again but then again i got host banned.

o no doubt the ban is. but for some odd reason, when i do go long periods w/o host, clearing cache seems to do me good. it may be coincidence, but idc. if its working, then ill keep doing it. and if its just luck, then who cares, ill still keep doing it.

Just wondering? And Im new to this site, not new to cheating halo2 though. All this argueing over host ban is crazy..its simple--they do something to your box to mark it--which i would love to find away around....I Know this for a fact---yes Fact. ive standbyed for host for 2 years now--No problems host every game even double team and six player games....then all of sudden the 1.5 update came out AND EVERY ONE WAS LIKE you cant standbye for host anymore. well i did for about 2 days---then every time i tried i went right back to 1 In Matchmaking......for months i tried every now and then..nothing---nothing im telling you I got host 300 times after the update and then NOTHING---NOTHING no host for about 500 Games---and i dont mean forcing host I mean no host at all ever , not 1 game ( 5meg Down) 512 Up speed if you were wondering....so i got the old XBOX out----and what do you Know I pulled host 200 Games in a row by standbying for it....after playing lag free for hours i plugged my 360 in and tried to force host just for kicks---Nothing....no host---went back to the old box and what do you know HOST HOST HOST EVERY GAME......So dont say there is not a HOST BAN------ PS In training I dont even get host when im the only single account in the game---It gives it to guests ( Split screen players) over Me
Does anyone know if the xbox ftp and deleting the cache files work? K its fake but i cant get host on my xbox.I tried every game and didnt get it and it backed me out every single time.But i got on my xbox 360 and got host.So what do you call this.Standby not working to the second degree for xbox?
Ok Maybe theres no ""HOST BAN" But im telling you guys I can use the same account XBL Knight420 On my 360 standbye for host and go back to 1 every time----I sign off my 360 walk to my basement get on the same xbl KNIGHT420 Acc and standbye for host all night....and I used to do this with my 360 but now I cant..If someont could Please Advise A Way Around this----as there has to be a way--Also how do you clear cach on your 360 my modded old xbox is easy but my 360 is not modded so i dont know how to do it in the DB
