Okay so usualy I dont't like posting stuff from NGU, but I found this to be a rather good find for people wanting to play online without the DNS trick. So here it is... Before I start out I would like to say that i did not have a good way to Word the title. You still need A Proxy but you do not use it. You got me? This will make you able to use your home connection speeds and not the Proxys or DNS. IF YOU TURN OFF YOUR PS3 YOU MUST DO AGAIN, SORRY ;/ Pre: Restart PS3 1. On the ps3 Menu goto Settings -> Network Settings -> Internet Connection Settings. 2. Select a setting -> Custom Method -> (your Pick i'm using wireless) WLAN settings -> just skip all that IP address settings -> Automatic DHCP -> DO NOT USE DNS SETTINGS -> Automatic MTU -> Automatic Proxy Server -> use 3. Address -> bypass356.servehttp.com Port-> 7070 (NOT 8080) 4. UPnP -> Enable Now Just Test 5. Sign into Play Station Network. (wait 30 seconds) 6. Now Go Back To, Settings -> Network Settings -> Internet Connection Settings 7. Select a setting -> Custom Method -> (your Pick i'm using wireless) WLAN settings -> just skip all that IP address settings -> Automatic DHCP -> DO NOT USE DNS SETTINGS -> Automatic MTU -> Automatic Proxy Server -> do NOT use 8. Test and it should sign you in because the proxy already told psn your 3.56. FAQ Q: After I enter in proxy i go online but when I remove it i can not A: Try going online on a game then remove it. Less lag and DNS will be patched before this will be. They will need a new firmware or add more checks to the server in order to patch it
I never feel lag with the DNS hack and i would be all for this if you didnt have to do it everytime as i tend to forget things and it would be a pain in the *** to have to turn my laptop and view this tutorial just to go watch a movie on the ps3. <<Bigger picture and quality than laptop

I don't really care about going online on PSN.... when I play backups on my xbox I have to be able to go on XBL so I can chat with my friends (VIA party chat)... but on PSN, there is no party chat XD Plus I don't really have much friends on PSN.... so meh. I'll just use the DNS thing until it's patched Most PS3 exclusives are predominantly singleplayers... InFamous, Heavy Rain, God of War, Uncharted (UC has a pretty cool MP too...), GT5, LBP, MNR, etc... I guess theres always Killzone and Resistance, but I'd rather stick to single player and play a wide variety of games xD Leave the online for mah Xbox Now if PSN gets a party chat... then it will be a whole different animal *glares at Sony*
