Ok, im running borderlands on PC. I wanna make a machine use shotgun ammunition. Like make a machinegun shoot sledges shotgun bullets but I wanna keep the amount of force that sledges shotgun has. That does not work. There is no way mixing parts between guntypes, eg no smg mag on a pistol or no sniper barrel on a smg, that does not work and the game will delete such a gun immediately. If you are after the knockback effect of sledges shotty (useful for launching players very high) there are some alternatives, one is a rage rage sniper, and one is a eridian thingie.
