I'm sure Zakb009 has his reasons. I send him a PM and he just says that he prefers to do it his own (/ the old) way, and I have nothing against that. I'll try and keep this thread updated when new information comes out, so it isn't of any difference for me whether this thread gets a pin or not.
Yeah, I find it looks cleaner to have a pinned thread that links to useful threads, rather than pin them all.

But look at it this way, they need money to keep the game for us, so you all want a game? instead of paying 60$ for a new game, pay for a 20$ game which is cheap, and make things 2$ for DLC's. You cannot complain, really unless you are really cheap. Everything has a price for Consoles, Xbox 360 Minecraft players cannot cry because we don't get things free, that are on PC. They work to get game onto consoles, just saying DLC for 2$, for 40 skins is amazingly cheap if they wanted to they could make DLC's 600 or 1200 MSP. Just saying be grateful. Not saying for all of you, just saying for the Minecraft players that say it's unfair. BTW, love the thread
I wouldn't be surprised if the adventure update (1.8.2) isn't going to be released until mid or late September (or even October) considering the "Mid-August Update" is simply a bunch of bug fixes.
Jup, I wouldn't be surprised either. Ow well, let's just wait it out! I know I can wait for Creative so I'm fine with it either way.
i heard that texture packs were coming possibly in 1.8.2 if not, later. is this true because i neeeeeeeeeed tp's haha
It isn't officially confirmed so I can't confirm that it will be available in 1.8.2. I'm sorry, but all I can say that is confirmed is "Texture packs will be added in the future". Again, I am sorry but I can't help you with providing more information. My though, however, is exactly the same as yours, I think they may be releasing either the first texture pack on 1.8.2, or reveal information as to when it's coming when 1.8.2 comes out, but again, I can't confirm that.
Thread updated. Full changelog for TU 3 (Surprise Bug-fix update; formerly TU 2.5) added. Changed "2.5" to "3" and moved all updates after TU 3 forward one spot. It should be out next week, as the approximate release date states. "More details" of TU 4 (Formerly TU 3) rewritten to make it easier-to-read. Fixed some minor alignment issues to make the thread look a bit better. Changed the "Rumored release dates" of TU 4 and 5.
