Please do not post full changelog lists. By doing so, the thread gets full of (later) unneeded information.

Hey there! Thanks for reading my thread including all details about the different updates for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition! I have created this thread to share you guys latest information about the upcoming and already released Title Updates. I have started this thread somewhere in May and I have kept it update ever since. After a while, this thread got a pin and was branded as '[Official]', which did nothing but encourage me to keep updating this thread in a frequent rate. Some of your fellow members have also nominated me for Topic of the Month three months in a row, and I won the Topic of the Month October with this thread you're currently reading. I'd like to take this moment to thank you all who have supported me and nominated and voted for me in the Se7ensins Contests section. I love you all and I very much hope you enjoy this thread. Please don't be afraid to post updates you find in the comments to share them with other members, as I may be away sometimes.

The dates are either "Confirmed", "Approximate" or "Rumored". The "Confirmed" dates indicate the absolute date on when the update will be released, the "Approximate" dates indicate a (partially) confirmed estimate on when the update will be released, and the "Rumored" dates indicate speculated dates, which have not been officially confirmed.

    • Title Update 11: bug fixes for TU 9 (part 2)
    • Release date: May 10th 2013
Here we are again... 4J Studios thought they'd fixed the slowdown caused by explosions, but unfortunately they didn't quite fix it yet. This seems to be enough reason for 4J to actually go ahead and release another bug fix update to solve the issue. Let's hope they do fix it this time.

    • Title Update 10: bug fixes for TU 9
    • Release date: April 16th 2013
Some of us were excited for TU 9. Some weren't as much of a fan of it. It doesn't matter how you felt about it, you all noticed there were some major things wrong with it. Some game-breaking, some plain annoying, and some bugs you won't even experience as annoying at all but are there nonetheless. It's that time again, time to fix everything that was wrong with the previous update and make Minecraft perfect again. This time around, one of the major issues is the lighting issue where it doesn't update the blocks correctly and displays an eye-catching annoying black shadow. Well, that's fixed, along with some other bugs. Check out what will be fixed in this update below!

    • Title Update 9: game changes to version 1.1
    • Release date: April 4th 2013
While there already are a few references to the Ender world, the Ender hasn't been actually added up until now. This update will change that. With this update, the Ender will be finally added along with a bunch of new features that shouldn't be in this version of the game yet. In matter of fact, some of the features aren't even in the official Minecraft PC version yet, as they are added in the Minecraft version 1.5. In this version, new Xbox-exclusives feature will also be added; whenever someone is in another region (Nether, Ender), there will be an 'X' on the map showing where the portal is. Along with that, the Ender will be more challenging on the Xbox, and will require more skill for the player! Take a look at what will be added in this version below.

    • Title Update 8: bug fixes for TU 7
    • Release date: January 30th 2013
Previously, it was thought by everyone that this update would include the "End" world. This is sadly not the truth. This update will only fix the bits and bolts that went wrong in Title Update 7. It will change some things in world generation, but that would be the only real addition to the game, the rest are just bug fixes. A bit disappointing for the most of you, but that's it.

    • Title Update 5: game changes to version 1.8.2
    • Release date: October 16th 2012
Villages, Enderman and Creative Mode. Just to name a few of this update's additions. This update can't be missed in Minecraft seeing it brings Minecraft it's "thrill". This update greatly improves terrain generation with new Biomes (= climates), Strongholds, Abandoned Mine Shafts and a couple of other things that will be pretty nifty. What makes this update worth waiting for, however, is the fact that this update includes "Creative Mode". Creative Mode is build and designed to be able to build without drawbacks, as you have an unlimited supply of all blocks, and are able to fly / float to build high structures yourself without having to build a dirt-tower from the ground-up. Some of you may especially like (or dislike) this update due to the new food-bar being added to this update as well, but you can't remove the food-bar while in Adventure Mode, so I'd suggest to try and live with it and to get used to it when it is there.

This updates comes with the normal and sticky Pistons, and also adds a couple of new features as to how you should obtain some stuff. For example, you know how easy it is to obtain wool right? Well, that's about to change as you, starting this update, need to cut the wool off the sheep and cannot simply hit them to obtain their wool anymore. Overall, this update will keep you guys playing while you are waiting for the "Adventure Update" to be ready.

    • Title Update 1: Launch TU
    • Release date: May 9th 2012
There is not much I can tell about this update, except for that this is the very first update that was released when Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition hit the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. It was most likely to contain the things listed below, but since there's no official details anywhere to be found, these are just guesses and may or may not be true.

    Changes:
    • Changed the dynamic wallpaper of the main menu.
    • Fixed miscellanious loose bits and bolts.
    • Updated all Xbox LIVE features such as the Marketplace and Xbox LIVE play for Minecraft.
This is not the official changelog. It may be subjected to changes.

Nothing like paying for free stuff on Xbox that is free on the PC. Yay for us....not. :(

Well, if you're talking about the DLC's that are about to come out, that will most likely be free. This is not confirmed, though.

We're talking about Microsoft though so I'd suspect paying something for each, sadly.

Well, it would cost 4J and/or Mojang some money to post content on Xbox LIVE Marketplace so knowing Microsoft I think 4J is required to price them at let's say 80 MSP, so when they'll price it it won't be that high-prized anyway. I'm still going with the idea that it's going to be free though.

None are confirmed yet, 4J Studios simply states "Soon...".

I remember when we on PC were first getting these updates. The hype built up so much, and they were kind of disappointing. At least the adventure update was. Pistons were not.

Really looking forward to the actual game changer updates. The bug fix updates are important too, since some of the bugs in this game are annoying me, like my inventory not saving, rare clay, etc.

They are adding autosave, and when that comes, I'll be happy.

No, the TU2 isn't in the game, the save editors are just listing it but when adding it in, you don't get the actual Pistons.
This is kind of different this time as we (well most of us) have already played the update and know what is in it. I'm just excited to build my structures with Pistons and stuff again.
Ow well, let's hope they all come out soon! ;)

I think I am turning that feature off since it will interupt gameplay (don't know how though) every now and then.
