Re: Analog sticks not working (Severe) I also experienced this issue for the first time yesterday while playing split screen. At first only the second player was unable to use the right joystick, but after quitting and restarting the game neither player one, or two could use the right joystick. I also noticed the screen dimming, and lack of sound as indicated by the original poster. After trying a bunch of different things to resolve the issue, (e.g. quitting out of the game, restarting the Xbox, playing single player, etc...) I realized that the solution was simply to go into settings and reset everything to default (I had not found this forum yet so I resorted to solving it on my own). It seems the game, for one reason or another sets everything down to zero, including the sensitivity on the joystick. However, now when I play I noticed that all of the tutorial pop ups are back (I'm not in the tutorial world). I get a pop up telling me about roses, and sandstone, and how to use my inventory, so on, and so on. It also started giving me the avatar awards all over again. So far my achievements seem fine, but I have not tried earning any new ones. we'll see what happens when I do. Just thought I'd add this bit of info in case anyone else comes across this issue.
About the part where the tutorials keep popping up and avatar awards, your account might be corrupted, recover your account, then yo'll have to go through it one more time then it should be gone forever
RE: Powered Mine Cart not working I can confirm this for myself, and 2 others I've played with, on 3 different worlds.I've gotten it to work 1 time ever. Went one-way and back, riding the "train". Tried it again immediately and now it doesnt work. The powered cart is pushing, but the one(s) in front won't budge. if i remove the unpowered carts, the powered one attempts to move normally (but is extremely slow). Any word from Notch/4J/whoever on this?? This seriously needs to be looked into. If you can't have a MINE system in MINEcraft, then what's the point? I've never played on PC, but I have heard this works for those players. 360'ers should have the same capability.
I don't think so, I havn't seen anyone other then you experiencing it as of yet.. At least, it's not a confirmed bug, it may be a bug but it's not yet confirmed.
with the animals despawning, that is because we dont have the adventure update yet, currently animals spawn and despawn, but that will change in 1.8
I have another one to add. -When placing two iron doors (or two wooden doors using a button, or pressure plate) and you lay two pressure plates or buttons for the iron doors, one of the doors will stay open always except when you're on the plate, then it will close. Like its opposite.
There's a very annoying glitch with Redstone + Redstone torches where it is powered when it cannot possibly be powered if there is a torch in the vicinity. Also one with Doors being opened by torches and it makes a semi-clock and rapidly opens and closes. This may not be a glitch but if you power a repeater into a Dispenser, should it fire? Because mine won't and it seems fine, the only thing i can do is place torches underneath the dispenser which are sideways onto a block and then power that block to turn off the torches. Which is annoying because it takes a while for the dispensers to fire after first being powered.
uhhm, i was building today then in game went to save and it said that my storage device is experiancing problems and is currently avalible then automaticaly quit the game for me without saving..any thing on how to fix this? i went back into the game tried saving to multiple devices and my hdd and it said the same thing for all. wiped out, restored, and configured a ten gig flash drive and it said the same thing again... and the save is only about 22 meg. please help. message me with help thanks! i appreciate all help
IMPORTANT!!! Hey all I have found what I believe to be quite a severe glitch, if it was already listed I must have missed it but anyways here goes. I have recently found that when Place too many wooden fences, a portion of my world becomes transparent also this only happens (as far as I am aware) when I place a fence in a certain area. Just before there are any comments like "Stop placing fences" I would like you to know that I am building a roller coaster. If you would like a video as well I would be able to make one. Any help on how to fix this or acknowledgement that someone from the mine craft group is trying to fix this would be much appreciated. P.S. sorry for writing "important!!!" in caps but I know many comments get skipped over.
Okay, i can't be the only one, but i had a full set of iron armor and it lasted a very short time and didn't even protect me, I've played the pc version and it isn't like that at all, the armor lasts and i take 0 damage, is anyone else having this problem?
I have a rather annoying glitch/bug that causes hostile mobs to hardly spawn, and when they do spawn, they do not attack unless attacked. I walked up to a creeper to test my theory, and the creeper walked right next to me. I play mostly online games both single and multiplayer. Also, the mob spawners in the world do not work. They are not on fire, and do not spawn monsters. I switched difficulties, creative back to survival, and still no good...
why cant i play the full version of minecraft xbox after i transferred my data from one xbox to another
If your repeaters are going straight into the back of a dispenser it should fire. This may be an intentional logic change for the Xbox edition. Are you attempting to fire them rapidly? Such could also be an issue if your clock is too fast to let the repeater clear.
Don't know if this is on the list or not but: It's mad annoying when zombies or skeletons wake you up and attack when sleeping. You have to block the door(s) in order for them to stop coming. Torches don't work.
