Very interesting thread here, I myself don't really plan Minecraft and don't plan too anytime soon.. But, I must say that this thread is really well put together, clean and seems like he has put alot of time into it. If I ever decide to play Minecraft, I will look for this thread here if I ever need anything.

AndroidAR - Snowy Plains

AndroidAR is one of the lesser known famous seeds from this version. It is mainly a snow map with minor parts being covered in sand/grass. It is generally flat in the regions that connect gigantic step-like mountains that extend into the clouds. Decent resources and fun to make flat projects on.
