Thanks, I'll give this a go- I recently passed a play through without being able to import my pc saves to the ME3 I have for the xbox. I chose numerous deaths, didn't like it and then chose Kaiden Alenko death only to find out everyone who even matters is still dead I just checked the KIA list on the normandy. Wrex, Thane, Jack, everyone form numerous deaths still dead. Edit: Lol my bad, thought this was like Gibbed's Save editor- I needed something for the plot flags...
My save is 1/2 way through the game and it says it is unable to read game data play more and try again later. Any suggestions?
Do you load the whole save into or just contents from your save. Also if its contents then what part.
Its just a bug in the editor that some people are having. You'll have to wait a little bit for the coding to be fixed up
This can't possibly be for ME3 :/ there is a probe editor in this. There aren't any probes to buy in this game. Also if I remember correctly, last time I talked to Gibbed he didn't know how to edit 360 saves and he had never heard of Modio ever either so how would he know of Horizon o.o Plus he doesn't own a xbox so how could he have tested this???
This works fine. What are you talking about ? This works fine. I've tested myself. This has nothing to do with gibbed's editor.
This editor works fine. Here's the "problem(s)": 1. You can't use the editor until AFTER you've done EARTH prelude. The stats don't yet exist to be modified. 2. BW attempted to minimize the number of people who use "transferred saves" so you can't do offline editing. Example if you use Xbox360 Copy to USB you'll get an error. Use XBox360 Move/Transfer to USB, edit the file, then transfer it back to XBox360. 3. Here's the kicker, they also attempted to make so that the above would be detected and the autosave/manual save doesn't work. You'll get a "corrupted save" error and an error about there not being enough space to save/quicksave, and also if you attempt to delete a save it won't work either. You might think corrupted save game right? Nope. a. Have an existing save game from a completely different character. b. Start a new game (use import ME, or normal new game, doesn't matter" c. Save this new to the USB. d. Play up through Mars, then save, then save, make an additional new save right after that (you'll see why later). e. Load a game from a different character (see step A) f. Once that game has completely loaded, pull the flashdrive out of the Xbox 360. g. Plug the drive to your PC, edit is as normal (edit the newest save game; the extra one you created), then plug it back to Xbox360 h. Go back to Load screen in game and load up the edited save i. You'll get an error saying the save is corrupted. Select NO on the 'do you wish to delete'. (that's a no-brainer; don't be an idiot ) j. Now once the game has completed loading IMMEDIATELY create a new save of the edited version. k. Now go back to Save screen and confirm no more "corrupted save" errors appear. l. Good, now exit the game and transfer it back to your Xbox 360. PS- make sure you disable Xbox Live in Family Settings and turn off the "Online Feedback" options in the ME3 game options while making edits. I have not yet confirmed but I'll try and see if you can "roll back" your level after you maxed it out to get more points for skills. i.e. After you leveled it to 60 you can't max out your skills because you ran out of points. I've done this trick with other games where you simply de-level the character, then max it out again. This trick doesn't work with every game. Some you have to roll the character back then play from the de-leveled point and play as normal. You get the boons from the game itself instead of modding it back and forth. There now that I've helped everyone else, would someone PLEASE explain to me how to get the FTP feature to work. lol
FTP(file transfer protocol) is not possible on retail consoles from what i understand, only for XDK and JTAGS.
Thanks M4yon. I've reviewed XDK and Jtags. It's possible to access Xbox files via FTP without the haphazardness associated with them. I'll do it the old-fashioned way. I was just assuming this mod's FTP feature hooked into the service and I was missing something. ... and sorry for the double-post. *grin*
Yeah via USB or if you have the old xbox 360 you can use a transfer cable are the only options available for retail consoles when it comes to modding, which sucks. Unless your into coding there is not really much point in owning a JTAG or XDK but FTP is brilliant makes things a lot easier, shame it not available for retail
Why can't I save anymore? Whenever I save it says saving, then when I check by going into load or save it's not their... Maybe it has something to do with it sayings it's corrupted...
