Basic Rules

#1.1 With the addition of the main board rules, the sole purpose of this outline is to detail specific rules and forbidden content for this section. This extends to all subsection of the parent forum.

#1.2 Violation of these rules may result in a warning and/or further punishment.

#1.3 Search before you post. This can help eliminate the possibility of duplicate questions or topics.

#1.4 Respect the opinions of others. Learn to agree to disagree, and don't put others down because they have a different viewpoint than your own.

#1.5 If you run across any post or content that violates these rules or the main board guidelines, then please report the content and do not mini-mod.

#1.6 Any news about any Apple device, hardware, or software must include source of original content. If source is from a forum, the name of the forum is fine.

#1.7 This section deals with discussions on Apple products, specifically those running OS X. All other products must go in their designated forums. Any off-topic discussions will be deleted without warning, punishment may follow.

#1.8 These rules are subject to change. Members will be notified of such changes.
Forbidden Content

#2.1 Content that is prohibited from discussion include, but not limited to:​

a. Warez (i.e. Cracked software, Links to pirated software, etc...), and discussion on pirated software is prohibited (whether public or through private messaging).

b. Product Bashing. Having issues with your own Apple product is one thing. However, we try to refrain from discussions dealing with PC elitism, or for any competitor product. If you wish to discussion PC's, there is a section for that. This section is for discussions with Apple products only.

c. UDID registration requests are prohibited.

d. Promotion/ Referral codes for apps (i.e. Appredeem) are prohibited.
Sub-Section Guidelines
OS X Discussion
a. Product bashing will not be tolerated. Posting issues about one's own Apple product is accepted, granted that discussion remains civil.

b. This is not the area for PC discussion, or any other competitor product. Visit the designated forums for such products.


OS X Support
a. All Apple product questions, concerns, and issues are to be posted here (Desktops, MacBooks, iMacs, Apple software, etc...).

b. Asking for pirated software, location of warez, or links to warez downloads is prohibited (whether through public or private messaging).

c. Be descriptive in your topics. If in need of troubleshooting, provide as much information about your product or software as possible.

d. Avoid replies such as "Get a PC." Such replies will be removed and result in a warning, or further punishment.​
