Looking to upgrade from 5.00 M33-6

    Hi everyone,
    I have just dug out my old psp, 1003 model, and was wondering if there is a way I can upgrade from it's current firmware version, of 5.00 M33-6, to one of the newer ones and can anyone recommend which firmware I should go for?

    Also I wanted to know if there is any need for me to get myself a pandora battery or whether that is just for downgrading and unbricking?

    yes you will need a pandora's battery for downgrading and unbricking. Im not sure about the newer versions of M-33. Although i run GEN firmware cause i like to run CXMB themes. it seems new and it can run pretty much anything. Out of curiosity howd you get CFW in the first place ?
