Hey there, I have been trying to licence transfer Minecraft on the xbox to my console using someone elses account. Now then, it worked on one of my xboxes, but that one crashed. Now i tried to transfer the licences on to another xbox, but the game won't work unless I sign into the owners account first. Any idea why this is happening?
You can only do a transfer every 3 months i think dude. Maybe thats why? You can log into xbox.com to see which console its currently been transfers too i believe. I do it every 3 months with someone, free games/dlc
I don't think I explained my self clearly enough. I have 2 accounts that I can licence transfer, let's say account 1 and account 2. I used Account 1 on my recently broken xbox, that worked fine, I didn't have to sign into Account 1 any other time after that. After my xbox broke, I had another one, in which I transferred the licences from account 2, but I have to sign into Account 2 or Account 1 every time I want to play it. It isn't that bad it's just annoying and I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing this too?
Idk how you managed to license transfer between accounts, considering it is impossible, but you should tell me if you figure it out. Licence transfer is between Xboxs and ONLY can be played on the account that you bought it on.
Well, when I transfer a friends account licences to my xbox, as long as I re-download whatever it is I want, I can play it without signing in as them, it has always been like that for me, then I got to this xbox, and now it doesn't work :|
