[JTAG] Update to 12611 in 9 easy steps

I F***KING <3 YOU (NO HOMO) BUT i get told to update do i update or not?

I bricked my xenon jtag when i was putting the new dash on my jtag and i messed up and now it boots in to xellous when i press the power button on my jtag and I dont know what to o because I have no disc drive which means i cant press eject and i tried this tutorial it detects my flash drive but does not update.
Could you please help

Pressing the power button whilst there is no drive will boot the same as pressing eject. Thats normal fella, get a drive if you need one.

I used this guide on 2 Xbox's and it worked great! The first time I had trouble getting the program to work for some reason (cmd prompt kept closing or giving me errors) but once I finally got the program to work it worked great. It was so easy that I felt confident trying this on my other Xbox that had given me flashing troubles in the past (somehow fuses got changed and I nearly completely bricked it a few times) but I just ran it through this tutorial and it worked perfectly. On both Xbox's I used the current (9199) nands as I didn't have the originals and I didn't need to use donor files and they both worked great. Thanks!

just wondering if any one can help me, i made the freeboot image but after flashing i get E71 error i reflashed my backup nad using xell(9199) but no matter what i do the new dash gives me e71

Somehow it overwrited the kv twice so now theres no kv data where it shows under the cpu key anyone know what i can do to fix this?

what does aud_clamp fix mean?

Every time, after i install the new dash, the nand just won't boot and the xbox doesn't send a video signal. Tried 4 times.

I did this and it worked perfectly, but when i booted up with my kinect sensor in it said i needed an update to use it.
How do i fix this?

I need a little help guys. I bought a Falcon JTAG. All I have is the CPU key, no dvd key. I backed up the current nand. Basically all the keys say bad when I open it in 360 flash tool. I used easy freeboot on that nand backup, but the update just gave christmas lights. I also tried using easy freeboot and checking the 'donor files' box. The resulting .bin did have keys in 360 flash tool but still just christmas lights when flashing. I don't care about getting on live just want the kinect dash. I'm sure this is probably something simple, but what am I missing?

I can't upgrade to newest dash due to a lack of my original kv :-(

you dont need your original kv, all you gotta do is make a current nand dump because that is the current info on your jtag.
