Download xLink Kai Evolution 7 NOT THE BETA! http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=download Also download Winpacp: http://www.winpcap.org/install/default.htm 2. Click "Start" and run "Configure Kai" and match these settings... 3. Now click "Start" and look for "Start Kai" if you are on Vista, right click and go to Properties and choose run as Admin. If you are on Windows 7 do the same, and also run in Compatibility Mode - Windows Vista SP2. 4. Now you will need to forward port 30000. Go to your router settings by typing in your local IP. Here are some common ones... 192.168.2.1 192.168.1.1 192.168.0.1 192.168.1.100 Click on "Virtual Servers" or "Port Fordwarding" and enter 30000 for the port, and for the IP enter your PCs IP, you can get the by opening Command Prompt and entering ipconfig. 5. Now make a Kai account here... http://www.teamxlink.co.uk/?go=register 6. Now open "Start Kai" and enter your account info. Click on the Magnifying Glass and the top and makes sure it say Port Open: Yes Then click the Globe at the top and search for the game you wish to play. Enter System Link and enjoy your game!
i have a pc and a laptop in my house so how would i connect the Ethernet cable or do i just leave it connected to the router
It can still be wired, then it uses both connections. I think you can use it wireless but it might affect your ping.
can someone please help me evrytime i try to run Configure Kai a error pop up saying "Unable to initalize PSSDK library". Can someone please tell me what to do to fix this so i can runit. Thanks.
Ok so yesterday i played Zombies on xlink for a couple of hours and now when i start up xlink kai, it just stays on the "Looking for Kai engine.." Anybody know whats wrong?
No, he was asking if he could host lobbies like that. Unless the person is in the same house, it's not going to happen.
I've got in lobby's across the country before my jtag through xLink... If you have a good connection it's possible.
