A wise man once told me. "As long as I can still find games, this series is as well alive then before" I live by this, i still play MoH (Medal of Honor), able to find games. hell, MP3 has MoH amount of players. is that game dead too ? even though it JUST came out? No
The Halo series isn't dead or is it going to die. Yes the fan base has gotten smaller as the new games came out but die hard fans stuck with it. I grew up playing 1, 2, 3, and Halo Wars. When Reach came out I wasn't to excited about it based on the the first 3 games. Yes there is a few things i still don't like about Reach (Armor lock) but it doesnt stop me from playing the game with friends and other Halo fans. I mean how many hours each summer did you stay up playing halo in a friends full of people? All playing halo? A good portion of my younger years was spent at LAN's or at a friends. Halo isn't a game that will die off in the background like any other game. The true fans wont let it.
I don't think call of duty will take over, I personally think call of duty will end before halo. If you look at it, even say one of the games not many people like halo wars, Theres still an average of 7000 players on that each day. And reach still has many players as well. I used to be a call of duty player. But now im trying to decide to sell the game. I just think its so bad now.From the trailer Ive seen for halo 4 thats got me interested. But in my thoughts as other people have said as well halo is only reaching the half way point!
