    Just started mine but it came up with an error message saying there's something wrong with the market place or something and it's still on 0% so I don't even know if mines actually downloading

    Turn background downloading on and turn your xbox off, that speeds it up a fair bit.

    Seems to be working for me, sat there for ages waiting on a few % then i turned it off and 20mins later it's at 80%.

    Console settings, if you have a slim it should already be enabled so just turn it off

    I'm so stupid.

    I looked every place on console settings apart from where it was. :p

    For future reference:

    System Settings > Console Settings > start up & shutdown > background downloads > enable.

    I must have disabled it at some point. :)
