How to Run Backup Games on PS3(3.55)

Hi DrZimbabwe, question for you I just Dl'ed a game it's about 10gigs and put it on a 16GB Fat32 flash drive...and when I plug it into the PS3 and go to Multiman it shows USB and the size of it but wont let me access it to copy the game from it to the HDD? is this because the external HDD has to be powered as I recall or is there a way around it, your help is appreciated thank you also for the guide worked great

PS. before I forget you mention you posted somewhere here how to play the PS3 games without a Disk can you direct me or explain thanks.

Is there anywhere that you can buy or download copied games.

hello everyone: I just modded my ps3 and everything went well untill I got to installing multiman. I just can't see it under the game icon. I got the install package files and the apps_homePS3_GAME/ but I can't see multiman. Maybe I need a tutorial for less then noobs like me. lol. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance. I used DrZimbabwe tuts all the way. Forgot to mention that this is a used computer with about 10 gigs of stuff in it already...so is it safe to reformat? Will i have to reinstall ofw and cfw again ? can i play ps2 games with this

i have sucessfully copied the game to internal hard disk but when i load a option comes and i select no it take me back to xmb but there is no game in it i tried r1 button on game but nothing happens

Yea, same thing is happening to me at the moment. Just did the JB last night. I will try a few more things after work today. If anyone else was able to fix this, let us know!

For anyone looking for a solution: Instead of using Multiman, I gave Gaia Manager a shot after failing with Multiman on 2 consoles. Gaia Manager worked perfectly the first time.

Worked with a BR disc in the drive before I installed the BDEmu pkg. After installing the BDEmu, did not need a disk.

Can someone answer me a couple of questions about this process please?

If I downgrade does that mean that every time I connect to play my legit games online the system will upgrade? Then every time I want to play a backup I have to downgrade again?

everytime i go into recovery mode it says update to 4.00 or later. when i go on to try to still update to 3.55 it still says no applicable data found the fourth time i tried it said data corrupted (8002F2C5) and im really sad. can anyone help me :'(
