This tutorial will help you to find out lost passwords on your computer.

When I say passwords, I mean Admin and regular passwords that are required to log on to your CPU. As stated above, this works on windows XP, 7, and Vista. Before we start, you'll need a few things:

    • A CD with about 500 MB to burn on it.
    • OPHcrack HERE
    • IMGBURN HERE

If you're having problems logging onto any account on your computer, you'll need to burn the disk on a different CPU. Now lets begin.

First you'll need to download the appropriate OPHcrack ISO from the website.

Simply click on the link I provided above, then click on "Download OPHcrack LiveCD" or just go HERE

Now depending on which OS you have, you'll need to download the appropriate file.

If you have Windows XP, you'll need to press the top download.

If you have Windows Vista or 7, click on the bottom download.

Once your download is done, you'll need to put in your disk, and open up IMGBURN.

Once its open, you'll need to press "Write Image File to Disk".

Next, you'll need to press the folder icon with the magnifying glass on top of it next to "Please Select a File"

Now you'll need to browse for your downloaded OPHcrack ISO file.

Once you find it and have loaded it into IMGBURN, you'll need to click on this here image at the bottom :

Follow the instructions completely ( they are pretty straightforward ) until you hear the music notifying your disk is done burning.

Next you'll need to configure your BIOS files to boot your internal CD drive first when starting up your computer.

For a tut on how to do this simple process, go HERE

Once that is complete, you'll simply need to insert the disk, and restart your CPU.

It'll boot like normal at first, then you'll see this:

Once you get here, the rest of the process is on autodrive, all you have to do is be patient.

Next You'll see a bunch of code and stuff like this :

This is completely normal so don't be alarmed.

Once all this is finished, you'll see the UI pop up:

Your user accounts are displayed on the left, and the corresponding passwords for said accounts are displayed under the "NT PWD" category.

The process is completely automatic, you'll just need to write down your passwords. If it says "empty" then a password is not required for the account.

You should now be DONE !

If you need ANY assistance then feel free to PM me, or reply to the topic !

What kind of CD could I burn it to? I have a lot of CD-R's and DVD-R's. Would those work?

No sorry. The program only works from a CD. I'll try to find a USB method if you'd like.

Mind telling me how someone logs on to a CPU? Or how one burns a disk on a CPU? Or maybe just how to configure one's BIOS files?
