Use this picture to find what kind of Xbox 360 DVD Drive without opening it.
This is Amazing, makes everything 999x easier. Why people are scared to click your thanks button is beyond me.
Thanks mate, I've got benq
Look what I started
It's good that you also indicated the wire colors to indicate the difference between the BenQ and Phillips since the disc tray looks just about the same. Nice work.
You mean difference between a BenQ and a Lite-on. Both drives are made by Phillips.
Yea. I just went by the first word on both of them. My bust.
np Its a little misleading.
Hmm, My other box has 1 white wire and 1 red, any ideas? It's like 3 years old, still running somehow.
Ahh, Disk tray looks like toshiba.
Samsungs have a white and red wire.
i love you
Im on the mobile version of the site as I am not at home so I can't hit the thanks button...need pics on mobile version..
Same here man so where do i get another drive, that's what i don't understand.
BenQ wires are light gray...
Hey everybody, have something interesting here, I bought a 360 the other day and took off the face plate to check the wires, and there are none, regularly this would obviously be a Hitachi but the tray looks like a Philips, I dont have time to take it apart right now so any input would be appreciated. Btw the 360 manufacture date is 6/2009 if that helps any. Thanks for reading!
You have one of the VERY new lite-ons then. Better hope that you got one that can be dumped.
Damn, was hoping that wasn't the case, thanks for the quick reply though.
ok i am very lost.
i have a black plastic thing (the one the pic is pointing to), but inside it is a yellow wire/cable thing.
I'm sorry, but can you not read? It is clearly right there in the picture. Yellow Wire = LiteOn
it also says black plastic is hitachi or w/e. so which one is it? i have a hitachi liteon? thats possible?
