where do i solder the LPT cable/printer cable at on a Xenon motherboard do i use the first picture above named LPT Connections are the same for every single board. There is not difference. This picture names those motherboards because of the JTAG points that are in the picture. Disregard that. LPT connections are the same for ALL boards! and then use the picture named Xenon Motherboard JTAG Connections for the JTAG solder points someone help me please and need a mediafire link to NandPro20b and mediafire link for Xell and mediafire link for xbins
i have the cable made, and the jtag parts to do a console. i dont want to mod it just had the wrong dvd drive in it. a botched repair job. had rrod and the person repairing it shortrd a mosfet blew a cap and fried the power brick, then removed the drive that was original to the console. as i understand the first step is to jtag and add cable, dump and compare bins. how do i go about patching the file with the dvd key? i have all three possible drive types here already, and should have the software already. i just want to put it back to stock, it is a falcon elite made in 5/7/08. thanks for any help here.
the resistors do not matter which direction they face, the diodes do. you can verify this with a multimeter. resistors read the same either direction, diodes only read in one direction unless they are shorted. dont worry about the resistors other than they are on the right wires and right points on the motherboard. the diodes band does matter.
i have the jtag wires and the parallell connection in the xbox wont turn on i think i read it was not grounded properly. well i checked the ground and it reads 0.1 ohm to the board ground. rechecked wiring 3 times and all is good, checked between connection points for shorts and there are none. any suggestions? i need to get the dvd keys to flash to another drive. once i have this done i don,t care if it is jtagged or not. HELP!!!!!!
Damn, my dash is later than 7371, is there a way to downgrade or any other method of this mod? looks like a great mod!
There is no way of downgrading but you could try the Reset Glitch Hack its the same sort of thing, allows you to run un-signed code etc.
If you want to find out more about what RGH actually is look on Free60.org and that will have information on what it is and how it works. If you decide you want to go a head and do it I would recommend using the Team-Xecuter Coolrunner (make sure its a legit one a lot of fakes going around). It is also recommended you get a professional to install it if your a noob to soldering.
There is a tut in my sig that explains the differences and will tell you how to do both. Coolrunner definitely.
To the owner of this thread: Could you please correct the above commands by adding a "\" after "C:" and "Nandpro20b". There are also two other occasions in the original post on which you have made the same mistake. I provide links to this text-based guide in my somewhat popular YouTube JTAG tutorial series and numerous users have contacted me with problems due to this mistake.
Lol while I agree that the thread should be corrected it is very outdated and I don't think the user goes on anymore. Get a new up to date tutorial for reference.
