How can I derank one of my accounts that has a commander grade 2 in doubles and is a 48. I heard that you dont get banned for quitting just as long as you stay positive in the playlist. I heard that removing your hardrive is another option but I have no clue. Feel free to post your deranking stories :p

I made a thread on this. Yes, just stay positive EXP wise in the playlist and you wont get banned from quitting.

Best way to derank (in doubles) is to have a party of 2 to do it. Otherwise if you go in alone you're going to get complaints filed.

I also heard that getting filed complainted only means you can get banned from XBL?

Nope. You CAN get banned from H3 and xbl, moreso h3 than xbl, but if you file a complaint for like... someone being too good then it doesn't get "observed" by Micro$oft so they don't even try to ban you. Second accounts arent bannable either, so why would being too good ;D

No, those complaints are only for Microsoft NOT Bungie. Bungie will use their own system to catch you. People filing complaints won't do anything to you in Halo. Just make sure you stay positive EXP in the playlist you are quiting like Fox said.

You don't even need to quit out. My booster has positive exp but like 300 loses in slayer. That is how you make a nice booster is getting a REALLY bad W/L ratio. The worse it is the better your booster is. :)

I just traded a 50 for this account that has 376 exp in team slayer and is a 26. You think it can be a good booster? He's a strike commander btw

Possibly. If he's not a good booster and you want to make him a good booster in Slayer, just quit out of a ****load of games or lose a ****load of games. You can quit out of up to 376 games in Slayer alone.

It can be a beastly booster if you just went into slayer and constently lost. quiting out does nothing if your team still wins.

I've been going into games just standing still. I've ranked it down from a 26 to a 23 and yesterday I played a game of team slayer with my friend who was a 15 in it, we went in with randoms and we played legit captains and captain grade 3's and he went up to a 19 but it was 3v3 and when we played a 4v4 (randoms) against a couple of 50's he went up like 2 or 3 only.

Don't do too much losing or quiting. Bungie must have done something because last night I got a two week EXP ban for quiting out of games. I guess Fox's way doesn't work 100% because I was quiting in Team Doubles and I had 200 EXP and I still got EXP banned. I would say the best way to avoid getting banned now is only quit a couple games at a time.

Yeah I might quit like like 30-40 a day but in between I'll stay for a game or maybe win one. Also I just found out that this new account that I got is a pretty good doubles booster. I got a fresh account up to a 45 in 19 games so I think Ima focus on team doubles deranking now

30-40 is too much. I did less games then that a day and still got EXP banned.

Yea but make sure your team will lose because if you quit out and your team wins you still will get level you jst lose exp and a booster with -200 exp doesn't mean anything with half of those with wins. If you understand what i am saying.
