Solved Have to keep re-enabling mineraft on port forward.

my friends and i host a bukkit server on their pc. it's always on, and open.

well, sometimes when the server is empty, and then we try to get on again later, we get this error message.

we have to manually go back to the port forward and disable the port, then re-enable it.

That's odd. I would recommend searching your router's model number and looking to see if there is any problems with port forwarding in that model.

Another idea would be to enable DMZ host on the server's IP address. This would basically make the computer the server is running on bypass the router's firewall, making port forwarding not needed.
