Yes it has been for a couple years.. You should see halo 3. I was on yesterday it only had 505 people online
Just wait until Halo 4! But i think alot of people still play reach but yeah over the last year alot of people have stopped playing it.
many people including myself who were once avid halo fans have abandoned the game. the true community base is even smaller than it once was. /truestory
dying? i think you mean dead bungie ran there franchise into the ground and knew when to walk away 343 will put the final nail in the coffin.
343 have been amazing so far, So you cant really say that about them... They are doing there best to get halo to what it use to be before bungie ran it into the ground.
Bungie only went wrong with reach im not saying 343 is doing an awful job by any means just bungie handed them somthing ready to fail unless halo 4 has amazing outcomes its going to be like any other main franchise it's not that its bad its just we are reaching the point where players are seeking something new and different but developers are just milking all the series for what they are worth it's hard to keep a franchise running for as long as halo was but to me i feel like halo is going to end up like the call of duty series after treyarch took over. My point being halo reach kind of was a flop not their best title by any means I am excited however for those four titles that bungie is working on because thats what we need somthing new and different a new series not sequels and prequels. I'm sure halo4 will bring back some of the old crazed halo fans but I do not believe the popularity will ever peak the way it did during 2 and 3.
i agree with some of this but honestly we are looking at a boiling point this november cause halo reach wasnt the best halo title and people thought it was a let down and with the unrelated call of duty blackops 2 cause mw3 wasnt the greatest so the best beat for these games is to go in open minded they are trying to correct the mistakes they made so they can build a fan base again its more as though they are starting over and im excited for bungies new game destiny but it sounds to me like they just making a different version of halo cause its gonna be a syfi shooter but still it is nice to see there trying to put halo behind them
Of course it is! When a games that many years old, only the hardcore remain playing on a regular basis! Halo 4 will be full of people online! What an odd questioN!
I snapped my MW3 disk the day after release, It was crap and didnt deserve to be in my collection of games.
The online counter is messed up, even w/505 players you can find a BTB game in less than a minute.. it says the population will be 16 or something, it's really not.
