Is this suppose to be a big deal? It's just a name change? I mean I wouldn't care if they changed like "Xbox Live" to "MS Live" or something like that.
Well, when you look at it like that, no. But, if you think of it as a new chapter for PSN and Sony, then perhaps.
Well it will be interesting as to how this unfolds. I sold my PS3 shortly after the PSN incident but that wasn't because I was mad at Sony, my parents wouldn't let me play video games anymore.
But.. but... what about when Sony released the PlayStation 1? I don't think MS were in the Video Game industry back then..
I saw just on the homepage Goodbye PSN, and thought oh ****tt I just got a PS3. But all is good, I see no point in a name change but whatever.
No it's not, your thought process caused it to be misleading. Many people have gotten emails and messages about the change over, so saying goodbye to PSN is exactly what we are doing, in favor of SEN . Not to mention all of the changes that may come as a result of this. I mean, why change the name if they are not going to rebrand the system?
