This guy found a way to hex edit the gold in skyrim hope it helps. http://www.xboxmb.com/forum/21-horizon-suggestions/81581-skyrim-save-editor/5.html#post790634
sell dragon bones and skin, i have so much that whenever i need money, i just go to my chest and get a bunch of those and go all around skyrim selling them
I also read there's a book glitch look it up on Google
Doing Dark Brotherhood quests is great money, also smithing is amazing money. Smithing protip: use the atronoch forge instead of wasting a perk point.
This is the glitch I was talking about, I haven't tried it I did the hex edit. lol
I made all my money from training alchemy :S best potion i found so far is giants toe and wheat. The potion for me anyway is worth like 1200 gold.
If you wanna do it legit, and it's the beginning of the game, go to RiverWood and chop wood and sell it, if you let your guy chop it for a little bit you can get 100 gold in like 1 min
if you go into a shop with a big jug, or basket, you can pick up the basket, and place it over the shopkeepers' head(s), and loot everything from the shop, youll probably have to sell the goods to the dark brother hood or theives guild though.
Marry Aela The Huntress She Gives You 100 Gold A Day
JK, JK, dont be jelly.
either way if you dont want to hex edit just go to that skeleton who drops the book, ea time, here is the vid : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjTOF2krun4
. How do I pick something up lol
uhh.. on Xbox hold A....
Do you honestly think anyone gives a ****?
Go too Gloombound Mine and there should be a lot of ebony ore veins, when finished just sell them. It will take 2 weeks in-game to do it again.
This thread is 2 years old.
i do alot of side quests for gold
Alchemy is a good money maker, especially if you have good perks. Just travel to a town and buy all the ingredients at the alchemy shop, then mix as many potions as you can. Sell them, then travel to another town and repeat. In the beginning you may barely break even or even lose a little money, but when your skill gets higher you start making more potions than you can sell. I make potions that are so expensive that a single potion is worth more than any merchants gold supply. I buy up all the ingredients and sell one single potion to the alchemist that gets me all my money back, then I sell another to the general goods merchant to get all his/her money and move to the next town. I eventually started buying up all the best enchanted gear (collecting one of everything), just because the merchants never had enough gold for me to offload my potions.
