Well, I actually am not surprised that this happened. It's basically because they didn't prepare for such a large amount of players on their servers, it was bound to happen. I only hope they adapt their hardware to support the (IMO massive) audience. I do think Blizzard's doing a great job on supporting it, and I hope they continue to do so for a long while.
This type of thing happens with every major game release. So no, I'm not surprised. At least they are working on it quickly unlike other companies.
Probably a lot more than you or I will realize. This is different though. This isn't something that beta testing can fix.
****ing errors all over the place. I was sitting in the queue because the servers are full (when I'm trying to play single player), and have gotten at least five different errors while in the queue for 10 minutes.
The closed beta was open for how long? When the open beta came, how many people used it? Enough to the point they could have prevented this...
its only like 8 updates for the servers on day one. and like 10 hrs of down time,, an who knos how long it will be down at the momment
*sigh* at least I rushed to act 2. Where you getting spammed by messages from people getting achievements? lol
im at the beginning of act 2, and yes im getting spammed with players getting acheos but u can turn that off in the op's. i wish that they had a beta or somthing to test out the servers.... o wait
So how you liking the wizard? I've been raping everything, I love it... Well nvm, that's a bit off topic... I ****ing hate wasting half of the time I could be playing waiting for the servers, it's getting really ****ing annoying.
well with all the server lag im glad i started with one that can do longer range attacks. with a company that runs WOW you think that they would be a little bit more on there game.
I'd rather wait. I don't want to put time into a character I won't use at all once these issues are all fixed.
