Here is just a list of some of the popular Minecraft error messages.

Error 502 - Server not found.
Answer: You have either entered in the wrong server name or the server has been discontinued.

    Client error - java.NullException.error
Answer: You need to update Java and/or the client.

"You were disconnected from the server"
Answer: minecraft.net is down or you lagged out of your server. Another answer could be kicked or server shutdown.

"Server Shutdown. Rejoin in 10 seconds."

Answer: The server has been shutdown. Then rejoin in 10 seconds.

Error 503 - "HTTP no response"

Answer: minecraft.net is down, you have to wait!

Black screen or when loading Minecraft the start up has frozen.

Answer: Unfortunately you have installed a modification the wrong way. What I would do is salvage what you can( saves, texture packs, etc) from the .Minecraft folder located in %Appdata%. Then once you have completed that you should delete the .Minecraft folder and launch Minecraft.exe back up.

    User Not Premium

Answer: You are playing on a cracked minecraft version or you are playing offline

    Failed to login: Bad Login
Answer: Logging in or out two quick

    Took to long to login
Answer: The connection has timed out and/or it took to long to login.

Why doesn't anyone find the answer to the problem to "java.net.socketexception connection reset" error? D:< I hate how this happened when I updated to 1.3, can't play on servers anymore.. :cursing: :cursing: :cursing:
