I'd just like to know your guys' opinions on which I should buy.Also I already know that all the L4D1 maps are on L4D2 and that really doesnt matter to me , I'm really just looking for quality of game play .

I myself prefer Left 4 Dead 2 because the game seems more lively and the Characters seem to have more distinctive personalitys along with everything new that's been added to the game. Well L4D1 was pretty scary. The emotion and game itself looked gritty and dark. L4D2 just seemed to crazy. Not the good crazy either. Don't get me wrong there is the custom maps which makes things more scary. I just feel as if L4D2 was sort of a horror let down and started leaning towards the humor side of things (Which might be a plus for your situation).
I'd say get the pack with both of them in it otherwise L4D2 is definitely a bigger and better game especially now with the massive free update it just got
