    Yeah, and to add on to your post, whenever there is a red box around the text, from what I've experienced is the editor doesn't recognize the words/items, and it corrupts the save. so if anyone gets a red box, make sure it is typed correctly and no words are broken.

    To add on to that note. It will recognize anything in the proper format however the part it would apply to may not exist and therefore will not produce an item or will substitute a similar valued part in for the altered code. Such as with artifacts the theta grade can be input as 18 which will have the same effect as the 8 and the number 26 may be put in without being recognized as an error when that part does not exist for any artifact what so ever so check the values as well. It is best if you can find the part through the editor itself to avoid these issues.

    On a side note it would appear that the manufacturer limitations in Borderlands 2 apply to a lesser extent than in Borderlands as far as I have found only affecting unique limited weapon parts for weapons such as the infinity.

    from the original weapons and the parts will almost always generate them for you if they are left blank

    Click the item you want to share in your backpack
    Right click and hit Copy
    Paste the code here for example - BL2(BxK+uhiG1AgGKIxo1pxngQa0Uj4vtLWUrZfV0EYGrpk=)

    All users need to do then is copy the posted item/weapon code
    Click new item/weapon in the editor and hit Paste code
