So, no cod points, but no unlocking guns through leveling up. Alright, looks like I gotta prestige in this.
I like the new class wildcard idea. Much needed. Bored and tired of the old one used in Cod5 thru Cod8(I think Mw3 is 8th...)
Sounds interesting, but so did COD Points and the Wager matches in BO but they were a failure in my eyes. When I saw the MP trailer I thought it was an arcade game. This is the first COD that looks crap from the trailer.
I think it is a good move by the dev, but the CoD days are still over for me, and I think they will be for many of the older players too. Every year more people buy CoD, but I think that many player don't too. It will never match games such as battlefield, or minecraft (I know it isn't an RPG game, but you can make it anything you want).
I think it's excellent they are adding more customizability and choice into the game. Many A+ games (coughcoughWoWcough) have been utterly ruined by dumbing down of their class system. To see a favorite series (by my favorite developer, no less) get a new layer of complexity and selection added is a great treat. I can't wait to run bare shotguns with all of the stealth perks the game has to offer.
The new levels of customization on the Custom Classes is interesting. It's cool because people won't be running the same thing everytime (ACR/MP7 - Mw3, Silencer + Ghost - Bo1). On the other hand, the classes might get a little overpowered. Say you free up 3 slots so you can have six perks. You are now running Specialist from MW3, PLUS Assault Killstreaks. I'm glad Treyarch is trying a new system, and I guess we will just have to wait and see how it turns out.
That seems pretty cool I guess. I haven't really been paying that much attention to Black Ops 2 though because I've been focusing a lot on Halo 4 but what I've seen so far from Black Ops 2 seems interesting. I still don't know if I really want to get Black Ops 2 though with Halo 4 coming out. I might just get it too mess around in like I always do in COD because it's way too easy for me, but I probably won't play it that much and I will probably only play Zombies on Black Ops 2.
I for one am excited to see this new change in class system. More customizability is always a good thing. Although I think it may be a turn off for the more casual gamers, unless they make a few different presets for people to pick.
So many f*cking idiots in here. You ask for change and you finally get it..and then you still b**** about it...
This is slightly off topic, but did anyone notice the M8A1 in the multiplayer trailer? What is that ****? No matter what is changed, it will never be "new" or "good" enough. Just give up on people and accept that they'll never be happy.
