Are Call of Duty Games Not Following a Copy and Paste Formula?

I don't think Call of Duty was ever a good game. It was an easy and a casual game. And the majority of people like easy and casual.

there is too many lil kids playing call of duty now a days which puts me off considerably, that and no matter what activision say it is a copy paste job and a lot of buildings and other models are just recycled

I like when people say they just copy and paste the same **** from each game, then proceed to say CoD4 was the best CoD and they should make all the other ones just like it.

Call Of Duty Sucks. I Hope People Open their eyes and Quit buying this horrible title for gods sake quit making these people rich for selling the same game every year.

I don't mind all the CoDs to be honest. I play them for what they are. It depends on the person. Take Madden for example, I don't play any of them but "Joe" will go out every year & get the newest one.

I agree, look at the sport games making millions for the same game pooped out each year with maybe some new rosters and a new person on the cover.

TBH i think the CoD era needs to be put to rest.

They have had some great games but now they are starting to stretch the franchise a bit to far.

CoD is doing the same as the Harry Potter Series... They change a few things then say "Hey, look it's a brand new game/film w/e..".

Before you know it Infinity Ward & Treyarch are going to run out of wars to make games about and they will only be able to go so far making up wars that never exsisted, until people begin to think "Wow.. why am i wasting $60 on this crap each year?.." and that is the end for them...

Call of duty frustrates me so much I didn't buy another COD game after MW2.

Tell me how they think MW2.5 isn't a copy, paste from MW2.

Black ops 2 would be a good way to round up the series. It's time for these companies to move onto other projects.

I for one don't lose any sleep knowing people keep buying whatever call of duty comes out next, I do it as well however I never rush to buy it and usually wait till it goes down in price. However I do hope that black ops 2 (or whatever it will be called) will fail due to the simple fact that every game is trying to make money by following a more action-y formula of cod. I feel like cod has merged all games into a single super genre which is action/shooter. No game this generation has anything special about it because they all strayed from their roots of stealth, horror, adventure ect. in order to appease the cod audience in hopes to acquire more sales. /end rant.
