Gmod help

hey, my Gmod used to work with no problems at all, then it started to do this thing where if i try opening it, it flashes a white screen then closes in the blink of an eye. Tried re-installation but to no avail, can anyone help me please? Thanks in advance!

Have you contacted steam? They could give some good help seeing as they host.

Did you download directly from steam? or is this one torrented?
