| Microsoft curbs latest Blu-ray rumor ![]() Microsoft curbs latest Blu-ray rumor Microsoft denies any plans for the 360 and Blu-ray to unite Microsoft once again put down rumors of a new console equipped with a Lite-On made Blu-ray drive. The boys at Redmond even went as far as saying "customers who want a premium movie experience [can use the] library of on-demand HD content". Microsoft seems to have made it pretty clear that they're sticking to their guns - in this case, downloadable content. While many remain surprised that Microsoft hasn't jumped on the Blu-ray bandwagon well over a month Toshiba and HD DVD were run out of town, there is always that slight possibility that the Xbox 360 and Blu-ray will be one someday. I kinda liked HD-DVD though cause at least you could get those combo ones and back up the movie on the standard format side. | ||||||

| Not unless you have an ub3r-television. I have a standard 1080i HDTV which is about 37" and I couldn't tell crap for quality. So great job, you made this awesome disk and disk players that can have ub3r quality movies, but it doesn't matter until the televisions can get to a much higher resolution, and until movies can also get to a higher resolution. | ||||||
