When the original Rainbow Six Vegas came out, how could any man with at least an ounce of testosterone not be excited? I mean it's Vegas (the best place in the universe)...with guns. There is nearly no way that can end up badly. While the game's setting winded up being one of the factors that made the original game so damn appealing, the original Vegas game wasn't amazing because of its setting itself, but because of the excellent gameplay that came with it. From its excellent cover system, to its root in tactical warfare, the original game made a war-filled Vegas come to life.

Those 4 stars still don't change my mind on how I feel...

Several people I talked to have said the graphics didn't get any better and it is just like Vegas 1....

It's horrible. Uses Unreal engine. Just like Turok, Gears, Army of Two*it was good with this*, Kane and Lynch, Fuel of War. Horrible.

Oh yeah, Graphics are horrible, Was playing in HD.

I think this game is going to be amazing, and the graphics DO seem improved, but not up to Gears of War. Just my opinion.

That's true but I thought Vegas2 would look a whole lot better than the videos that have been shown. Vegas looked good for it's generation of games but now all they had to do was step up their game and work a little harder on the game to make it where everyone likes it (even the ones who despise R6 type games). They had a long time to think about how this game would look and play game wise.

That's just my opinion on the whole idea of this thread and game...

They all are disappointed mainly because they basically had a whole year to come up with ideas on the gameplay and what-not but they didn't really do a lot....so some gamers got extraordinarily upset..

But that is a good idea to rent it instead of spending about $60 a game you may or may not like.

Are you saying Gears sucks?
I think Rainbow Six Vegas 2 will be just fine. If you're a fan of Vegas, you will be a fan of Vegas 2. I don't see how it could be worse that the first one.
