Halo 3 Legendary DLC details incoming and some snowy pics too

Sound the alarm and wake up your neighbors, because this week's Bungie Weekly Update confirms that next Tuesday, March 18th Bungie will reveal almost all there is all to know about the Legendary Map Pack. Details including the unveiling a new mystery map that'll join the already announced Ghost Town, other random informative bits as well as a specific release date for the new DLC. And to get us pumped for Tuesday's big reveal, Bungie posted four new images (all viewable in the gallery below) of a few vehicles we'll be seeing in the soon to be announced map and, wouldn't you know, they all have a wintry white paint job. Winterized vehicles including traditional rides like the Warthog and Mongoose as well as a snowy Scorpion and a re-balanced Hornet minus those damn, overpowered tracking missiles. So, using this knowledge and our expert analytical skills, we can pretty much confirm that one of the two yet to be announced Legendary maps will be full of snow and will be HUGE. Oh how we can't wait until Tuesday ... joy, joy, joy!

I can see and only hope for a Sidewinder remake, that would be sick. I really miss some of the nice halo 1/halo 2 maps, and it's part of the reason why I don't play halo anymore.

halo officially sucks. Why the hell would they come out with DLC within the same week or time period of Rainbow Six Vegas 2? makes no ****ing sense.

That's like .. if assassin's creed had come out on the same day as halo3. it wouldn't have sold.

why is bungie releasing all these map packs for halo while cod4 hasn't released a single one yet. those maps are getting pretty old!

Awesome! cant wait to see them! This makes me think of Containment. and the scorpian reminds me of the scorpian in MrMurder's Nightwinder 2. I still play halo 3 and I still find it fun. Theres just something ABOUT halo 3 that gives it a less of a replay value than the other 2. Its quite odd. Some people say its the fact that you cant do some of the cool glitches anymore. Like superbouncing or geting ouside of the map. But then again it stops people from cheating like using the BXR or BXB. Halo will always be an awesome game! So what if it has less people online? That dosen't mean it sucks! Hell, it was voted the best mutliplayer game and the most addictive! It even got 2nd place for Game of the Year! HALO 4 LIFE!!! WOOOT!!!

i don't even play halo 3 anymore, but this might bring me back! i just finished all my GoW achievements and cod4 is just boring, so i might start playing. Are there still a lot of nerds?

Yeah.... Maybe if they would have released the maps earlier.... Scratch that. If they would have Released SOME KIND of information regarding the other two maps earlier, Everyone would still be interested in them. Also the Fact that the Maps, in my own oppinion, Are WAY too overpriced, just makes me want to play Other games. Bungie thinks that their Strategy of not giving the Consumer information about the Game that they have already Bought is going to make them want it more. When instead it makes them, again in my own oppinion, not want to deal with a company that wont give you, a small glimpse at least, at the content for the Product that we have already paid for. Dont get me wrong, I Think that it is awsome and I will most likely download them, but I have grown tired of not getting information about something that they are making such a big deal about.. its a "Map Pack" not just 1 map, the information about all the maps should have beeen realeased with the first one.
