| Se7en Sinner | Producer allays concern on Splinter Cell: Conviction's 'Mark and Execute' feature, wi There's no need to fear the new "Mark and Execute" feature in Splinter Cell: Conviction (PC, Xbox 360), so said Ubisoft Montreal producer Alexander Parizeau. This "fear" he was talking about is the voiced-out concern of gamers that the game may be made "too easy". The Mark and Execute feature essentially allows the player to mark of the enemies for the kill, immediately snapping at the target, and taking them down in one swift action. Explains Parizeau, "Have no fear at all. It's an added tool that lets you do the first step when storming a room or area or a situation. But you'll have all the tools that you used to use as well." Furthermore, this was included to reshape the traditional meaning of stealth. Stealth -- in the past -- has always been treated the same way. It was more like a defensive tool. What we wanted to do is give tools to the player to be more on the offensive, but remain stealth. No cardboard boxes for you here then, I guess. Related Splinter Cell: Conviction Articles:
