Consoles with leaked NXE update disable Xbox Live until the 19th

yea i think i would wait for the download date, no use in having the new dash without live,im looking foward to the netflix connection cant wait to see it work. Does anyone know if the big update will affect a flashed 360? i am interested in flashing mine but i am collecting more information on the pros and cons before i actually modify my xbox 360.Any news on that?

yea im sure there will be good and bad,but im trying to find out something soon because i replied to a craiglist post for backing up an making game copy's, an the copys are real cheap ,i you tubed the "playing on live with burned games" an learned some new stuff i did not know about like getting banned for playing copys an usinga stealth burning technique to get away with playing , its all new to me so i want to know more but if this update is capable of banning my 360 from xbox live then forget about it.

hi guys sorry if no write correctly i'm from greece so you understand it is not my home language.

i have a modded xbox360 and i have updated so i can watch divx.

now they are saying that if you put the new update the divx does not play and it asks you a new update what if when i connect after 19th of november something happens and i need to mode again the console

i do not know how much it costs there but here it costs 70 euro.

I wouldn't be suprised if MS put in something else kick *** that wasn't in the leaked version.

Chances are, When you update to the New dash on the 19 (when Live is available), you will be able to stream DivX with no problem.

Hopefully they fix it so you can. I have a bunch of divx i cant watch because the 360 doesnt support it.

I had the problem too. I just went out and bought a bunch of Blank DVD's and then Converted my .AVI and .DivX movies to .DVD and burned em all. But if I remember correctly when I tried to Stream a video with a codec that isnt supported it asks to update, wich means that on the 19th (when The Full Version of the NXE Dash comes out) they will still be supported.

man, im waiting, couse on the 18th left 4 dead comes out, and its not as much fun by yourself, and any one know yet if youll be able download games to your hardrive from the internet, and then use a backup dik for the test thingy that checks if you have the disk, couse it would have to check the fake disk, but it would be running the game form the hard drive, so it might be safer that way (though since its on your hard drive they may have security checks or something) just somehting for you people to think about

Dvds cost an arm and a leg but its no big deal for me i just wont be able to watch American Pie "The Naked Mile" on my 360 owell.
