Infinity Ward is on board for Call of Duty 6

No COD:World at war(5) isn't out but it will be on November 11th (correct me if i'm wrong but i definitely know it's not out)

i agree a war IN the US would be absolutely sick, they could work that to do so many things, fighting to get somewhere, fighting for any reason at all and the setting would be amazing they could do it in the future when cities are destroyed, or maybe kind of like a setting as in the movie I Am Legend< excellent movie, but ya absolutely sick

I was thinking coastal cities, examples:

New York
Norfolk Virginia (Major Navy port, I live by it too, it's about 15 miles away from me.)

They should make Call of Duty 6 based on the Vietnam War, there haven't been many games about that war, mainly because we lost.

Or a good storyline would be one that started in Desert Storm, then jumped forward to the Iraq War. You're a Delta Force soldier and you get called back into combat for a campaign against the Iraqi insurgency leader, and if you get him it delivers a knockout blow to the insurgents.

It's just that most series' are more original with titles. For instance:
Legend of Zelda
LoZ2:Adventures of Link
LoZ3:Link to the Past
LoZ4:Ocarina of Time

That's not counting all the GBA games or the spin offs (like the Tingle game or Four Swords)

I just hope they change it up a little bit, Maybe use different stuff. Like the Grenade indicator has bee the same forever, and all the Scopes... When you look through them they are all designed and Bitmaped the same as.

It was already decided a long time ago that they would develop the Call of Duty series this way. Activision wanted a title every year, yet neither TreyArch or InfinityWard wanted to have to make a game every year. So they decided they would make every other title and switch off so CoD5, CoD7, CoD9, CoD11, CoD13, and on and on will be made by TreyArch while CoD 6, CoD8, CoD10, CoD12 will be made by Infinity Ward. That is if the series goes that long and that is how it will most likely be and why they keep TreyArch.

I would like a futuristic type game by not to futuristic to where it becomes halo like. It would need to be realitic but maybe with an imaginary type war maybe between China because it would be interesting to see it play out. How about a war against Australia, I mean why should they get to hang out down there doing nothing and nobody would expect a war against Australia.

We didn't loose vietnam, just no body won.

hate to break it to u, but pretty much every country but canada hates the americans so it wouldnt be against australians if it was against a capitalist country it would most likely be america...

hmm... i dont know what they will do for cod6 cuz everything good has been done. hopefully itll be something more advanced but not too far or itll be sci-fi and lame

I like it being the contemporary style. It would be interesting to do one where you play as two different soldiers fighting for different countries against one and other and then seeing each battle from the view of the other (of course not every battle). It would also be cool if when playing as one of them you repeatedly run into the other through out the story without realising it until the final battle where you are holding a pistol at the other characters head and then the USA blows up wherever you are with a nuclear bomb.

The plot doesn't really matter to me, just the missions (there is a difference) and the multiplayer. Treyarch phails anyways, thats why I'm not getting CoD 5, but CoD 6 should be sweet though.
