Control panel help insert into a map

Hi i need help i have a map of assension but i want to add a control panel from the campaign but how do i insert it to the map. How do i change it for the plasma granades up in the tower as i need a control panel of any sort up their. Can some one help please and give me a tut on how to do it:cry2:

You will have to find it on the Campaign map. Save it. Then rebuild it in entity on the map. Then use the BSP viewer to move it and spawn it.

How do you mean save it. ok i have a map the station one and i want a control panel from it. do i open the map in entity and duplicate the item then bsp viewer it in over the plasma grenades. idont know how i need a tut on how please help.

Find teh tag in entity. Then hit the parsed ,blah , and sounds checklist. THen hit save. Save it to a folder. The build it back in with entity.

Oh and where can i find a control panel and what should i duplicate the bitmap of a control panel or some other tag

No, save the tag on the level that it is there. The tag not the bitmap. Would it work if it was a bitmap? No.

so i open the map in entity and save the tag, but which tag should i use and then do what use bsp

You need to find the tag that is teh control panel. Obvisouly you do not know much about modding. Go look for it.

OK this is what ive done opened ump v5
gone to map editors opened up entity beta 1.3
then i opened the map of the space station
then i looked along the side their is not teh tag
why cant i find it

Keep looking. If you want a mod done your gonna have to do it yourself.

the only tags on the map is tdtl and trak. these are the only tags. is this the only way or can i use insolence or dot halo to do it. Can you give me a tut it anybody please i need to know how to do it.

Its definitly not in the tags teh tag i need help give me a picture of the tag teh or please give me a tut on our to insert something from the campaign maps

Theres no way their is such a tag called teh i have looked and even used dothalo to find that tag in the search tag is their anyway i can put a control panel int he ascension map our could some one do it for me and give me spff file download of ascension with a control panel in the top part of the tower near the grenades.

How do i i get an item from the campaign map to the multiplayer map can some one give me a tut on how to do this. CAN U USE INSOLENCE OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.

And something else can you please tell me when i sppf a map do i then have to resign the map that i sppf'ed too

you will have to use the chunk adder part atfter you use insolence to copy it in.
