Extract a bitmap from DotHalo

Yes, I searched. For about an entire hour.

And it's completely ridiculous that no tutorial I've found shows how to extract a bitmap, it just assumes you already know and that dothalo does it automatically or something. Mine doesn't, I'm using the same version as the guy in the tutorial and on his, his has a raw data for the bitmap but mine doesn't.

If I am correct it's a lot easier to get the bitmap with entity. Here is the link to download.

Open dot halo
Open your map
Make sure your mainmenu.map and shared.map are in the same folder as your other map.
go to the [bitm] tag
find the bitmap you want to extract
In the raw data editor click extract bitmap andthere you go. Save it to your pc and you just extracted a bitmap

i went through the same exact thing and i fixed it just go to view in dot halo and click view by tag path thats what did it for me then click btmp and click on what you want to edit and it automaticly brings up the tag editor hope that helps
