Lightbulb Adding a weap to map

Hey,
I was wondering how I add a weapon to a map . . .
I wanna do this cause i wanna mod all of the campain maps, but I dont know what to do on a level, so i decided to a shotgun on a covie map, but i dunno how =(

So could somone post a tut (using entity) on how to a weapons to a map?

just switch some weaps? like assault rifle model to smg with dothalo? or change spawn? go to itmc tag

1.Open up Insolence
2.Open the map you are taking the weapon out of.
3.Open the map you are putting the weapon in.
4.Then go the the [itmc] tag.
5.Find the weapon you want to copy to the other map.
6.Select it then drag and drop it into the other map.
7. Once done open dothalo.
8. Go to the [itmc] tag again.
9. Say you are replacing the plasma rifle with the br. So find and click on multiplayer\single_weapons\battle_rifle and copy the meta offset."2BFE300" now find and click on multiplayer\single_weapons\plasma_rifle and paste the meta offset that you got from the br over the plasma rifle's meta offset. Now all plasma rilfes should be BR's

Say you want to import the fuel rod cannon from campaign into a mp map. Basically just taking a weapon from one map and adding it to another.

It would be easier (more proper) to clone a chunk then replace it with the weapon rather then losing the plasma rifle altogether.

That is the way i do it. This is just for people with i guess i could say less experience. This way you don't have to mess with finding a place to put the weapon.
