Best of the Best Question

Not sure if this belongs in this section or not but I did the 5 bar colonel glitch last night. Loaded up my guy, played one match to sync the score to my GT, and got the rank of elite. BUT I did not get the achievement which really is all i wanted anyway. When I looked up the GT it only has one achievement. Which happens to be the Best of the Best. So I guess my question is, Did I just get hosed?

not too sure but did you have the 2nd leitenant achiement first...you might need to have that

Yes I had gotten the officer achievement earlier in the day. I had done that legit but when I looked at how long I still had to reach elite on the calculator I opted for option 2...LOL.

And to make myself a little more clear in my first post (I couldn't figure out how to edit it), my character on my GT has the rank of elite now. I do not have the Best of the Best achievement. The character/profile/GT I used to glitch off of has the rank of colonel with 5 bars. When I didnt unlock the BOB on my GT I looked on the profile I used to glitch off of and it was still a 5 bar colonel with the BOB achievement. I want to say when I was signed in the very first time with the glitch accounted I noticed an achievement listed for RB6V but I never thought to look at it. I do know it had a very low gamer score.

yeah sounds like it was already elite when you got it
ask for another account in the request for account section but remember to read the forum rules on it

In that case you need another account just to be sure

Here's what you do if you use that same account again that already has the best of the best achievement. Glitch again to colonel and then to stick it and make it yours only play a really quick small game like a survival against one person and just kill them quick. (Basically get some points, but not enough to rank up to Elite) Then restart your xbox, this will reset it to show what achievements you really have and don't have. Now just play and rank to Elite quick and you'll get the achievement.

Yah or use a diffrent colonel with no exp on the last bar then just play a few T hunts

It's not about the experience, it's about the achievement. Since the glitching account already has it, and then you glitch it to your account, it takes everything including the achievements with it when you glitch. So you have to restart your xbox so it figures out what you actually have and don't have.

Ok this topic confused me, is there a chance you lose your achievements? Or is it you just didn't gain the Best of the best one because of the account you used blah blah blah?

Impossible to lose an achievement. But say if you glitch right to an Elite, then you will not unlock the achievement, but once you have an achievement it can never be unlocked.

what amurka is saying is i used a bad account from the start. the account i used to glitch off of already had the elite achievement unlocked even though the characters rank was colonel. once your account/gamer tag/profile unlocks an achievement even if your rank is reset that achievement is always there. it can not/never will be lost/deleted/removed.
