What a difference 24hrs. makes...

anybody ever notice on r6v that you can just kill it one night, going like 24/9 or 19/3 for kill/death counts for an extended time online one night, but then get on the next night and just get your a$$ whooped by basically the same people of the same skill...? i've also noted that i was not the host in any of these games, and i had a great connection to all matches i played in...

i'd also like to raise the topic of bullet eaters and why it happens... when i was getting my a$$ kicked last night after an all star 4 hour session the evening before, i caught several adversaries completely unaware of my presence... as i proceeded to unload some bullets from my famas in the side of his head from about 10 feet away, seeing the blood hit the wall behind him, and then seeing him turn to face me and hit me with two shots, and wink at my dead body before he teabagged me... anybody got any clue as to why these things happen...? preciate any help that is offered...

Ive had this happen to me as well. One match i would lead my team to victory, but then another I could barely get three kills off.

I have been told by some people that it is a glitch and others have told me its lag. Still t hose few people told me I just suck. If you ever stArt getting into one of those matches then try using a different gun. That usually works for me.

ive had some thing more annoying than that. it was vault and i was alpha. i kep unloading two shots at a time into buddy's head. i ended up killing him after like 8 shots to the head.

yea this game is very up and down. like halo its so easy to be good cause its a lot harder to die. but when its a few shots to a death...its hard to stay with good ratio's consistantly...

to add to this, i was playing this weekend, and i noticed that half the time i couldn't kill people even when hitting them first with a half clip of the famas, point blank too... and the b!tch of it all, is that i was the host... there is def momentum for the defense before A-team touches the package...i've also noticed that assault seems to have a slight advantage in momentum and game playing if they have the package...

amurka, saiyan, either of you guys notice stuff like this or know why it happens...

i was onboard with the 'you're lagging,' but it still happens when i host...!?!?

A lot of people have had this happen including myself lots of times. I think of it more as an error/something wrong with the rainbow six processors, software, or server. Because very few people no how to do that glitch plus next time you fight them or even shoot them in the back of the head it kills them.

And the only way for me or you to consider it that you shot them in the head is like he said where you came from behind/he didn't recognize your presense at all, you stood still, and you moved your aim right to his head and shot him a few times.

But das joker did you happen to just spray or did you shoot bursts?

I def squeeze the trigga... Not one of those pray N spray guys... That's one of the reasons I couldn't believe it happened. Nice little 3 round burst from the famas right to his ear and I had 23 in tha clip when he turned and drilled me!

Yeah...I've definitely had a sessions of just totally owning some people. I think it always helps when I've been playing a game eight hours straight while highly caffienated. I mean, I don't think anyone can compete with that. Yeah...I've had times where I could've swore I hit this guy in the head several times while he turns around and with one shot I die. It's unfortunate, but I guess that's how the cookie crumbles.

its annyoing when you in a lagged up game you shoot somebody theres the blood and they dont die they hit you once and you drop

I had five whole secound bullet lag last night. I would fire a 2 shot burst into a pain of glass, and 1,2,3,4,5 secounds later the glass would shatter? Haha stupid. I couldnt kill anyone with such a delay I would have to shoot five secounds ahead of them. but ya, I get that glitchy "cant kill anyone yet they shoot me once Im dead" once and a while. I just find a better host, or be host myself. I dont see the point in *****ing in that server I just end up looking like an idiot or a noob. which Im niether so I find a better server. Its just a flaw in such a flawless game?!! hahha yeah ok.

Yea i get this from time to time, generally because there are different abilities or lag.. Sometimes you can be fooled by the so called 'noobs' when the really a reset elites, or just masters at the fps genre.

heh I played alongside a reset elite. He was shreddin these guys
he was usin the P90. Man he raped em senseless. But that 5 secound bullet delay was beyond normal. Like it was pretty much the biggest defacit one could acquire

I've met more than one MP3-players. Those are the guys you just can't kill, no matter how much you burst into them. The trick seems to be that if you connect an mp3-player to your 360 and let it run, somehow the game gets glitched. I don't know the exact specs on how to do it though.

It sucks when you just let off a burst of maybe 5 shots to an unsuspecting victim, and as soon as the blood spouts out you see the green news flash telling you someones popped somebody and you automatically thinks its your kill. Next thing the guy you shot turns and drills a round into you :-|

this had happened to me a few times i think it has to do with luck... sometimes u just own every one in your way becuase you get the first shot and other times it could be the other people see u before they do and dont shot until u can shoot them first thats how i do it so i dont spook them into hiding....

and the bullet eaters thing may be because of the armor,poor aiming, or lagging... but if ur unloading rounds into the side of there heads point blank and they dont die after two shoots and the turn and own u. that could be a lag
