I've done this with the joker, from batman

Took a few tries to get it right but it eventually worked, white face, green hair, and a massive smile lol. Someone comments on it pretty much every match.

That is great i just need to now some how convince myself to spend 40 dollars on a camera for my x box lol ;(

I got my face to be Jigsaw. I love having a unique face.
To those who can't get it right: Make sure you have good lighting
Make sure the image that you print out is average-large in size
Make sure that the forehead and chin touch the red outline
The Best background is a solid color (usually black or white)
Sunglasses do NOT work
Best of luck to everyone out there

I can't tell whether you know this or not by your post but it has to be the official microsoft one dude so best bet is probably finding a second hand one on ebay.

I saw someone who took a pic of themselves wearing a hockey mask, (you could even see the holes in all of the appropriate spots!). Also, you can do this whilst wearing a bandana (hope I spelled that right). The bandana can even have a insignia or symbol on it and it will still work.
