How to do the Elite Rank Glitch in Rainbow Six Vegas

Yea its funny all the ways people come up to get around things. I haven't played Vegas in a while and feel like playing with some cutsom camo configurations and stuff. I could probably have the last set of guns unlocked on my own if I tried playing again seriously, but as of lately, I have been not playing as much. Maybe this will give me somthing else to customize in the game and bring back the novelty the game had a month or two ago =p

Yea I'm still at work... Its kinda boring here and no one has computer problems because all the students are hungover from last night and still sleeping. I'll probably be on to try this in about 5 hours.

ANd great post, It did it and it worked. But you don't get the achievement unless you have the others before it.

I had to get elite 2 times... The first time i didnt get the achievement because I got elite from the game that merges it to your account. Do a match where you will get like 100 exp, then log off and go back on to get elite and you get the achievement, assuming you have the previous ones.

jsut boost to the rank of w.e u get the officer achievement.. then boost to colonel

Well, I was already a 2nd liutenant before bosting and stuff, so I was able to get the achievement. But the first time I did it, I got Elite before it was "married" with my profile and the profile I used had the achievement for Elite so it seemed as if the game would not give it twice. When you become the Colonel and then go play a game, make sure it is somthing that gives low exp, like losing in a 5 minute game of Team Sharp Shooter which gets you like 100 points. Then I logged off, and logged back in. If you check your service record, make sure it shows your achievements and not the "Elite Gamertag" achievements, then you are good to go and will get the achievement.

That one didnt work for me either, there is a post a little while down with the gamer tag "Elite Gamertag", that one worked for me yesterday.

Yea thats basically it... I could have just played the terrorist hunt for like 2 more weeks to get my rank and a half till the desert eagle, but I kinda wanted those custom camos. I look absolutely ridiculous now.

i dont like playing thunt to the elite rank, i think it takes around 1125 games of realistic t hunt to go from private to elite.
to all the people asking, you do not get the achievement best of the best if you glitch with an account that is already an elite. the Elite Gamertag account is a colonel, get that then rank up normally and you will get it.
if you are on the tag, and get signed off someone is most likely using it. i suggest doing this late at night.
i will post more glitches when my xbox get back from texas in about 2 weeks.

i say boost to the rank of second lieutenant.. once done u do the colonel glitch, then u play 2 games and your an elite. simple as that it takes mabey 4 days and you have all the achievements.

hello everyone i have come across this gltich and would like to say that the elite gamertag does not work i have tried to recover this and have not been able to can someone please help me and create a new tag for this but as a very high colonel help would be appreciated please mail me on xbox live at fazzauk1 or on here thankyou
