ok 1 thing about the L8 (if you have ever play SOCOM II/III: US Navy Seals)
the L8 = IW-80-A2 (L8 is probably the proper term... who cares)

in SOCOM the IW was one of THE BEST guns to use... however it was TOO good in SOCOM II so i grew to hate it. I guess i will try it, however i voted for the FAMAS because... i love it

although in vegas 1... there were WAY to many FAMAS noobs

I haven't used all of these yet but so far I like the L8 the most, and then probably the M468.

I personally hate the FAMAS and the TAR21 (noob guns if you ask me because you know most the time youre going to get the kill,like the M-16 in CoD 4 so other guns are under used but oh well its an opinion I just dont use them, win or lose)

they are obviously the favorites of the developers, and its all ppl use.

its funny how they try and balance weapons when it comes to damage, but dont think about cyclic rate, and in the long run if they actually looked at the weapons caliber the guns would be way unbalanced because they are, many of the assualt rifles in this game are 5.56 nato and 7.62 nato, now 7.62 nato is twice as powerful as the 5.56 nato so this is kinda my point the 552 is 5.56 and does the same damage as the G3KA4 which is 7.62 nato ???? see now and the FAMAS is 5.56 nato and does less damage than the FNC which is also 5.56 nato ???? and on top of that all the sniper rifles are 7.62 nato and do damage of ten the bullets do greater damage at long range because of the barrel length not the caliber. but anyway this will be my b**** with ALL shooters ...

I play and still have fun - just being a gun nut doesnt make it easy

Can't disagree with you there... it straight up 0wnz on single shot. Haven't shot a lot of the guns, but that is because i know what i like and stick with it. And yeah, when you're a gun fanatic, you're soooo critical of how realistically it shoots and the damage it causes, that they screw up a lot (5.56 VS. 7.62).

The M8 is my favorite. I may just be hooked on it from the last rainbow, but it has good firepower great accuracy and little kickback.

I use the M468 or M8. Technically, the M468 is probably the best because it uses the newer 6.8mm bullet which has the range and accuracy of a 5.56mm bullet used in the M16 and the damage of the 7.62mm bullet used in the AK-47.

So far the M468 is my assualt rifle of choice. I tried the others but haven't used any others since I got hooked on.
