Get the PFC achievement and keep your rank

[II Entro II]

This has been confirmed by me ( II Entro II ). I did not discover this method, it was posted by Frozone13 here. As always, use this method at your own risk.

1. Sign out of Xbox Live
2. Reset your rank (instructions here)
3. Unlock the Private First Class achievement
4. Return to the dashboard and sign into Xbox Live (make sure you are in the dashboard and not the game) so the achievement gets uploaded
5. Delete all Rainbow Six 1 & 2 memory (Not sure why you have to delete R6V1 memory...)
6. Delete your Gamerprofile
7. Recover your Gamerprofile
8. You should now have the Private First Class achievement and your current rank

If you have anything to ask my gamertag is above.

Please sticky this.

Ps. You wont lose any A.C.E.S points, EXP or achievements.

Can anyone confirm this work? (and you still keep Elite)...I would like to know before I try when I get home tonight...

Yea I was victim of the ranks resetting, I already had my elite and just thought I would get PFC, so I wasn't that bothered about it, but I guess if you like having your rank and think Ubisoft will patch this then I would follow those tips.

On another note i cant get the first part of the reset to work...Do you have to be Online or Off to try this, or does it matter?

I dunno if it mater or not. I was first online, then i thought that it was wrong and i pulled my network cable off.

Well it was confusing so i mean that i did rankreseting while i was online. Instructions say that u need to be offline so i dunno.

Oh yes patch came today. I dont know ( suprice ) if patch matters.
