How To Replace PSP Analog Stick

THIS MAY VOID YOUR WARRANTY
IF U HAVE A BROKEN OR DAMAGED ANALOG STICK THIS IS WHAT U WILL NEED TO DO TO FIX IT.


IF U ARE NOT VERY GOOD WITH ELECTRONICS DO NOT TRY THIS. I ACCEPT NO RESPONABLITY IF U DAMAGE UR PSP.

STEPS

Step.1
Remove the 5 screws holding the faceplate as shown in the pictures below.

Now take the faceplate off.

P.S. Try not to strip the screws. but if u have stripped a screw and can no longer use it. u can find replacments here PSP Screw Kit.
if u need help removing a stripped screw these topics PSP-Hacks.com / stripped screw probleme PSP-Hacks.com / Have a problem opening my psp (one of the screws is ******) may have a couple of suggestions


Step.2
Now remove the screws holding the analog stick as shown in the picture below.

Now screw the new analog stick to the face plate
make sure u thighten the screws as tight as they can go.

P.S. Before u put back on the face plate make sure u did not touch the screen or get any dirt on it as u will have to remove the faceplate again to clean it.


Step.3
Now Screw the faceplate back on to the psp. make sure u tighten the screws as tight as they can.

NOW UR DONE
