My Firmware is 3.52 M33
*To get started shut down your psp all the way.
*Then turn it back on while holding the right trigger to go into recovery mode.
*When done plug your psp into your computer via usb.
*Then scroll down to "advance" click it then click "Flash0". (remember your psp has to be plugged in)
*Open and view the files. Then open "vsh" then "resource" and you should see .rco files.
*You need topmenu_plugin.rco
*Put topmenu_plugin.rco in a file where you'll remember where it is.
*Open RCO Editor and then click on open RCO
Click the image to open in full size.
Click the image to open in full size.
*Go to where you put topmenu_plugin.rco and open it. (IF you get an error "INVALID RCO - you must use a decrypted (FW 2.60 or lower) RCO!!!) DO NOT WORRY!Go to CF 3.52 M33 Themes - PSPCrazy.com - Your #1 Source for PSP News, Reviews, Tutorials, and Community
and download one.
Click the image to open in full size.
*It should look like this now.
Click the image to open in full size.
*Get an image 48x48, 64x64, or 80x80. DO NOT get a picture with a lot of colour in it or you will get an error message. "TO MANY COLOURS! There are (you will get a different number every picture) used in this bmp! the maximun allowed is 256, please reduce the number of colours used. Note, different shades of alpha consitute different colours."
*Supported images are .dat .mig .gim .bmp
*When you hit replace and select an image, it automatically saves so when you are done close out and replace the one on your psp.
NOTE: make a backup of your flash0 so you can make put it back to the original state.
