![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The way this tut is titles it sounds like you formatted a battery with a homebrew on it? If so that makes no sense. I need more elaboration.

It allows you to downgrade your PSP by adding homebrew to the battery. And it does make sense, its just you. BTW guys just buy a TOOL battery its ALOT less work.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | in a way thats what it does i dont no 100% the exact reason why it works but some how the battery tells the psp to look at the memory stick instead of the motherboard (and other componets for launch) it will launch the eboot that is on the memory stick witch is a 1.50 it will load the 1.50 update then install it on to your psp frimware Last edited by Forgoten Dynasty; 10-06-2007 at 05:51 PM.

![]() | So I bought my first PSP 2 days ago, and find all this stuff very fascinating. However, a clear picture has yet to materialize in my mind how this works. From what I am reading here, there are conflicting views, but my intepretation is as follows: The psp battery has an EPROM on it, which the PSP reads during boot. The contents of the battery instructs the PSP where to go for loading its firmware. Using this battery, you will always have the option to load firmware from your memory stick in case you royally screw up your PSP ('making it a brick') to the point where it will not boot. Moving on, this is only true for the fat PSP, and not the slim PSP. Hence; there are no 'backup' plan if u have a slim one (which I do) Can someone verify this, or correct me?
