![]() | Adding custom xmb waves to 3.03 OE-C Ok, heres guide how to add custom xmb (cross media bar= psp:s menu) waves to psp with firmware 3.03 OE-C. If you follow this guide nothing should go wrong, but im not responsible if you mess your psp!!! But you have recovery menu on 3.03 OE-C so its kinda hard to mess it ^_^ Heres the original xmb with original waves: ![]() And i will teach how to change waves to look like this: ![]() (Note that I haven't made these waves myself and those xmb icons or fonts aren't changing only wave) First download this: Send big files the easy way with sendspace. Files too large for email attachments? No problem! Then turn your psp completely off and turn it on while holding R trigger down In recovery mode go to Advanced and choose Toggle USB (flash0) Then connect your psp into your computer and go to your psp:s root folder (now it will be flash0 root folder so dont mess anything here or your psp may get bricked.) In psp:s root go to folder vsh -> resource Then copy system_plugin_bg that you just downloaded from that link into resource folder (do not rename system_plugin_bg). The system_plugin_bg file already exists on resource folder so overwrite it with system_plugin_bg you downloaded. Now you can disconnect your psp from your computer and exit recovery if you did everything right you should see that new wave. You won't see the wave if you are using wallpaper so if you are using wallpaper go to xmb:s(psp:s menu) settings and there theme settings and change wallpaper setting to Do Not Use. Feel free to ask any questions about this guide and give constructive criticism so i can make this guide better. | |||||||||
